SWARM website, Telegram bot and the "SWARM Spider Scan" Chrome extension · Last updated: October 12, 2026
Short version: SWARM reads public blockchain data. We do not sell data, we do not run ads or trackers, we never ask for keys or seed phrases, and the extension sends nothing until you click a spider mark.
1. SWARM Spider Scan (Chrome extension)
- Page content stays on your device. The extension reads the text of the pages you visit, locally in your browser, only to find token contract addresses and place a spider mark next to them. Page text, URLs and browsing history are never sent anywhere.
- Only when you click a mark, the extension sends that one contract address to
swarmengine.techto scan it, together with a chain hint (for example "base") that it works out locally from the site you are on. Nothing else about the page is sent. - Settings (marks on/off, Solana detection) are saved with Chrome storage on your device.
- Holder Pass (optional). If you verify a Holder Pass on swarmengine.tech, the extension copies that pass from swarmengine.tech into its own local storage and sends it with your scans so you get holder limits. The pass contains your public wallet address and an expiry time. You can remove it from the extension popup at any time.
- The extension has no analytics, no ads, and does not sell or share data with third parties.
2. Website and API (swarmengine.tech)
- Scans. When anyone scans a token, the token address and the scan result (built from public on-chain data) are stored and may be shown publicly, for example in recent scans, Radar and Rug Replay. Scans are not linked to who requested them.
- Rate limits. Your IP address is used briefly, in memory, to limit how many scans one visitor can start per minute. It is not stored with scans.
- Holder Pass. To verify, you sign a plain text message with your wallet. This is not a transaction: no gas, no approval, no access to funds. We check the public balance of that address and give you a time-limited pass, stored in your browser.
- Hosting. The site runs on a cloud hosting provider that may keep standard technical request logs for security and reliability.
- No cookies for tracking, no third-party analytics, no ads.
3. Telegram bot (@Swarm_Engine_bot)
- The bot receives the messages you send it (for example a contract address). It uses your chat ID to reply, to apply rate limits, and to deliver Dump Alarm alerts you subscribe to. Feedback you send with /feedback is stored to improve SWARM.
- Your phone number is not visible to the bot.
4. Public blockchain data
Wallet addresses, balances and transfers shown in SWARM come from public blockchains. SWARM does not identify the people behind addresses.
5. What we never do
- Ask for private keys, seed phrases or passwords.
- Send transactions or request token approvals on your behalf.
- Sell or rent personal data.
6. Contact
